Description

Dallara is an Italian Chassis manufacturer, famous for developing and producing chassis used in a large number of race series including, Formula One, IndyCar Series, and GP3 Series. Dallara were also involved in the construction of chassis for several notable road cars including the Bugatti Veyron & Chiron, Maserati MC12, and the Alfa Romeo 8C and 4c.

In 2017 Dallara announced that they were producing their own road-going track car, the Dallara Stradale. In standard form, the Stradale is a 2 seat Barchetta, but can be converted to Berlinetta, Roadster, and Targa top forms with the installation of interchangeable parts.

The Stradale is powered by a 2.3 litre turbocharged EcoBoost Inline-four engine, reworked by Bosch in order to generate 400 bhp and a peak torque figure of 500nm at 4,000rpm. This power is sent solely to the rear wheels via either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed sequential gearbox, both with a limited slip differential.

Dallara embodies Colin Chapman's philosophy of a lightweight, minimalist sports car, with the Stradale weighing in at just 855 kg dry.

The chassis is comprised of a hollow carbon-fibre tub with a solid side structure that directs air to the rear of the vehicle. The floor of the chassis is completely flat and mounts to a front splitter at the front and a large rear diffuser at the back. These factors combined with a vast amount of aerodynamic work by Bosch, results in 820kg of downforce at its top speed with the optional rear wing fitted! The car also receives active racing suspension, steel brake discs with calipers by Brembo and super sticky Trofeo R tyres courtesy of Pirelli.

With over 50 years of race chassis construction under its belt the Stradale is the ultimate road-legal track weapon and a true driver's car. We are now taking orders for this exceptional car, please contact us to find out more!
