Gordon Murray Special Vehicles launches with an exclusive run of 24 hypercars. Commissioned by Joe Macari, the Le Mans GTR pays tribute to the legendary 24-hour endurance race.

“Gordon, if you went to Le Mans today, what would the car look like?”

A few weeks later, over lunch in our London showroom, Gordon shared his vision with Joe and without hesitation, Joe asked, “Can you make me one?” Naturally, Special Vehicles can do anything. They agreed to create one car for every hour of their favourite race, and their partnership was formed. 

Codenamed T.56, Gordon Murray Special Vehicles set their sights on delivering the perfect blend of road-going enjoyment and track focused agility. Powered by the supreme 12,100rpm V12, driven from a central position through a manual gearbox, and utilising ground effect aerodynamics complemented by top-surface wings, the T.56 embodies Gordon’s greatest talents.

Today, 15th August 2025, at The Quail, the covers have come off. Unsurprisingly, 24 of Joe Macari’s most loyal customers are excited to share this journey together.
