Joe Macari Classic Ferrari Workshop

The Joe Macari Classic Car Workshop is perhaps the heart of the business as this is where some of the finest road and racecars are restored, serviced and race prepared to the highest standards.

The highly skilled experienced technicians provide a range of services from body restoration, engine rebuilds and interior trimming to every element of maintaining a classic Ferrari in perfect condition.

The roster of classic Ferrari that have passed through this building more or less covers the majority of the most illustrious road and race models from the Ferrari back catalogue and include: Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 250 SWB (alloy, steel and competition variants), 250 TDF, 250 California Spyders both SWB and LWB, 250 TR, 275 GTB (all variants), 365 P2, 365 GTB/4 (both coupe and spyder), to more modern classic variants such as 288 GTO, F40, F50, F430 GT2, Enzo, FXX and of course more contemporary Ferrari and Maserati models.

The workshop has produced numerous restorations which have won awards at major concours events, in addition to success in historic racing, although the bulk of our work is to provide owners with cars which are restored to the highest standards and crucially drive as well as they look.

Although Ferrari is the mainstay of the business, other non-Ferrari models which have benefited from our work include: Maserati MC12 GT (Joe used to race these and even made one road legal), Pagani Zonda, Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Miura, Lancia Stratos, Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, Porsche Carrera GT, Porsche 993 GT2, Porsche 959, Ford RS200 Evo, Lancia Delta S4, Lancia 037 and just about every type of truly exotic supercar and hypercar, in fact if you look at our cars sold page you can see hundreds of cars that have been through our service department.

Joe's participation in racing and success in contemporary GT racing at events such as the Le Mans 24 hours and historic racing with wins at world class events such as Goodwood, result in the experience which is really the cornerstone of the business today. There is a culture throughout the workshop to achieve the highest quality precision engineering output and despite the fact that, due to the size of the business today, Joe is more likely to be found driving a desk, his passion for engineering means that he can often be found in the engine shop producing work of the highest quality, for which the Joe Macari Classic Workshop is renown.
